In a Bangladesh school they have received computers to out into their classrooms to teach teachers and students how to use them. They want to be able to communicate with people all over the world in many different countries. They have participated in many different online chats, technology projects, and many others. This lets them see what is going on outside of their country. This might not be a big deal to us because we have had this technology but they have not. They want to learn about outside places and b able to tell us there feelings.

Blogs in the classroom
Will Richardson’s weblogg–ed.com a teacher at Hunterdon Central Regional High School in New Jersey uses blogs in his classroom. In the journalism class, students collect news stories to write about and then edit each other’s work. In the literature class, students comment and critique class readings. For Richardson, blogs allow his students to be more aware of their writing and their audience. The teacher assigns a book or some type of reading and each student in the class has to get on the website and blog about their thought on the book. This is good because it gives students who maybe do not like to be called out or talk in front of people an opportunity to give their honest opinions.
. J.H. House Elementary School in Conyers, Georgia uses a blog to encourage writing for third–graders. The teachers use to blog to spotlight select writings of children. Similarly, Buckman Arts Magnet Elementary School in Portland, Oregon uses blogs to create a portal for all classrooms. The blog links among each teacher, showcasing photographs, student artwork and classroom news. This shows that even young children can and want to participate in these type of classroom assignments also. This is a good way also for teachers to talk to parents and other students about what is going on in the classroom and at the schools.

This is a great website for teachers and students to use technology while learning.
Teachers and students today have access to the internet and computers both at school and at home. Students are taught how to use computer and are expected to complete assignment that both teach and practice their use on the computer. Some good ideas that teachers are using these days to teach students how to use the internet is have them create websites and assigning different online assignments.
*Research
Research is the number one reason to use the internet in education.
Creating a Website
A second project that can help integrate technology while truly getting the students excited about school is website creation. You can publish a website with your class about information the students have researched or personally created. Examples of what this page might focus on include a collection of student-created short stories, a collection of student-created poems, results and information from science fair projects, historical 'letters' (students write as if they were historical figures), even critiques of novels could be included. One concern that will be discussed more in part two is fears of plagiarism and parental support.
. *Online Assessment
A newer area of the internet to explore is online assessment. You can create your own tests online through your own website. These require knowledge of the internet, so many new users might not be quite ready for this. Although, it might be a great way to interact with Advanced Placement students over vacations and the summer. In the near future, there will be many companies who will offer not only online testing but also instant grading of exams.

The ALEX website is a very resourceful way to find lots of great ideas and help to teach your students what is important for them to know. As I explored the site I found so many great ways to teach what I needed to teach daily. It provides a course of study so that you know exactly what is expected to teach the children. It even provided the lesson plans to do that. This is very helpful in time when you don’t know exactly what to do or need new creative ways to teach the lesson. It also provides web links for administrators, students, and the teachers. This is very helpful because it gives the administrators a updated way to teach the kids in the classroom that they can pass on to their teacher and put in the classrooms at their schools. For the students it gives them website to help them when their assignments. For the teachers it gives them lots of websites to find things to teach the children and ideas and projects. It lets teachers know what kind of professional learning opportunities are out there for them to incorporate into the classroom for a better and more effective way to teach the children. It also will let you set up an account where teachers can submit lesson plans to the sight to help other teachers.
I really had no idea about this website but will defiantly be using this in the future. This is a great resource for both teachers and students. I actually have to come with a project for art and I will be checking out this website for ideas to help me complete my assignment. I will use this in my classroom to give me ideas on how to teach a particular assignment. I will also keep up to date with the professional learning programs that are out there. This is very important so that teachers can keep up with the new technology that is out there and that will keep the children involved and interested.

access
Access is a very interesting website that I did not know existed either. It offers public high school students an opportunity to take AP advanced level classes and receive credits for them all over Alabama. This is very important for those children who do not have the opportunity at their schools on in their towns to participate in higher lever classes to challenge themselves. It offers parents and teachers lots of information to get their children involved in the program. It also informs teachers of programs that they can attend to educate and update some of their teaching practices. It gives the students all the information they need to register and the classes that offered and how they participate in them. It also offers teachers from K-12 information and videos on how to challenge their students.
I would use this in my classroom to keep up with new ways to educate my students in a way that will stimulate and challenge them. I would use the multimedia technology in my classroom because that is a very good way to get the attention of students these days. Most students spend most of there free time on the computer and will easily relate to them. This is very enticing for both students and teachers because it offers things over the internet which is much easier for people to not have to actually be in a classroom.
